I’ve had this issue multiple times and when I take the car into Freedom Chevrolet’s Service Department I’m told that the wiring from the accelerator to main computer chip has been worn down or cut. The cars transmission will shift down to 1st gear and violently shift to 2nd which is another safety hazard seeing that I have a young child the rate of slow down speed would cause serious bodily harm to her if she is ever in the car when this happens. Once in service mode the car will not accelerate in 1st gear and all three times when this has happened I’ve been driving between 35 – 65 mph. My primary concern is the safety hazard this present from my child and I.

While driving the vehicle the car would transfer into a service mode and the engine light would then be engaged. Approximately 9 months after the purchase on I began have trouble with the STABILITRAC feature in the vehicle.
